It is a very extensive municipality, with the mountain range of Pesells to the north, the Els Ports Nature Park to the south, and the rivers Algars, Canaletes and Estrets running through various areas of the municipality and creating a fairly rough terrain.

The village, at the top of a mountain, offers a magnificent image from any point of view.

The village’s main activity is dryland agriculture. The fields, mainly olive groves, extend towards the four cardinal points.
